The main theme of the opera is the life and work of the Brazilian scientist. A great portion of the show shall be staged at places that marked Chagas' professional history, such as the midland portion of Minas Gerais and Amazon. The show has a symphonic orchestra, a 40-voice-choir, seven soloists and 12 ballerinas.
