The symposium will provide lectures and round tables on themes associated to Chagas' disease, providing information on the historical dimension and the current scientific knowledge, and addressing the present challenges in Chagas' disease. The event shall also include a seminar on the relation between the discovery the disease and the History of the Tropical Medicine.
